CandidIA is built for anyone looking for a job, an internship or an apprenticeship, in France or French-speaking Switzerland. More specifically:
- Students and recent graduates looking for an internship, an apprenticeship or a first job.
- Permanent employees who want to grow or move to a new company.
- Executives and managers in internal or external mobility.
- Career changers who need to reframe their experience for a new sector.
- Candidates relocating to Switzerland, Belgium or Luxembourg.
- Expats returning to France who need to adapt their resume to the local market.
- Freelancers moving to salaried work (or the other way around) who need to restructure their profile.
- Technical profiles (developers, data, engineers) targeting specific ATS (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever).
What CandidIA lets you do
The platform covers four major areas of the job search.
1. Resume optimization for ATS
- Resume rewritten with the exact ATS keywords for each target job.
- Automatic ATS score and identification of missing keywords.
- Compatibility with Workday, Greenhouse, Taleo Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, Lever, and several other common systems.
- Parsing-safe PDF export (standard font, linear structure, no blocking graphic elements).
2. Personalized cover letter
- A unique draft for every job and every company.
- Quantified facts pulled from your resume.
- Precise reference to the target company and its public culture.
- A persuasive structure: hook, value added, alignment, call to action.
3. Job search and sourcing

- A match score between your profile and each job.

4. Tracking, strategy and preparation
- Kanban pipeline (Applied, Generated, Interview, Offer / Rejected).

- Intensive interview prep right before a scheduled interview.
- LinkedIn profile optimization to align your showcase with your targets.
- Application strategy: priorities, send order, application pace.
- Analytics: response rate, conversions, average time.
What CandidIA is not
To avoid any confusion:
- Not a simple resume builder. Tools like CV Designr or Mon CV Parfait are visual editors — they format a resume without analyzing a specific job listing.
- Not a job board. LinkedIn and Indeed publish listings; CandidIA aggregates and analyzes them to adapt your application.
- Not a human coaching service. It's an artificial-intelligence system, designed to work at scale and at an accessible price.
- Not a tool for creating a resume from scratch out of nothing. The platform optimizes an existing profile; it does not invent a career history.
- Never invents experience, a degree or a skill you don't have. This is an absolute rule, enforced by an automatic post-generation audit.
- Not a recruitment agency. CandidIA helps the candidate — it does not place you, represent you, or negotiate for you.
- Not a human proofreading service. Corrections are produced by the AI, not by a dedicated human proofreader.
- Not an employer-side HR tool. CandidIA is a platform for candidates, not for recruiters or HR departments.
How is it different from a simple resume builder?
A resume builder helps you format your profile. You get a clean PDF, but the content stays generic: it doesn't change based on the job you're targeting. Yet recruiters and ATS software expect a resume that speaks their language — the language of the listing.
CandidIA does the opposite: it starts from the listing. It identifies the skills, tools, certifications, soft skills and keywords the ATS and the recruiter are looking for, then reorganizes and rephrases your resume to meet that demand exactly, without inventing anything. The same operation is applied to the cover letter, which becomes specific to the company and the role rather than a reusable generic text.
It's the difference between a text editor and a copilot.
| Criterion | Classic resume builder | CandidIA |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | Your profile | The listing + your profile |
| Personalization per listing | No | Yes, automatic |
| ATS keywords | Not detected | Extracted and woven in naturally |
| Cover letter | Often missing or generic | Generated for each listing |
| Application tracking | No | Kanban pipeline |
| Interview coach | No | Yes, conversational |
| Job aggregation | No | Yes, multi-source |
| Match score | No | Yes, per listing |
How CandidIA works technically
CandidIA relies on large language models to analyze the content of the listing and of the resume. The system identifies the expected ATS keywords, the technical and soft skills mentioned, the required level of experience, then adapts the wording of your resume accordingly — without inventing anything.
Every generation is audited automatically after production to detect and block any hallucination or addition of information not present in your original resume. This step is non-negotiable.
The generated PDF uses standard fonts (Helvetica), a linear structure (named sections, dates in mm/yyyy format, no multi-column tables or blocking graphic elements). This structure maximizes compatibility with the leading ATS on the market.
Why ATS matter
An Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is application-management software used by the majority of large companies and a growing number of SMEs. It steps in before a human reads your resume: it parses the document, indexes it and compares it against the listing's criteria.
The filtering is strict:
- If the listing asks for "Python" and you only wrote "scripting", the ATS doesn't make the connection.
- If your resume uses multi-column tables or custom fonts, parsing fails and some sections are ignored.
- If the order of sections doesn't match what the ATS expects, information is mis-indexed.
The consequence: an excellent resume that is poorly formatted or poorly aligned with the listing can be eliminated before it ever reaches a human recruiter. This is the invisible filter CandidIA helps you get past.
To go further, see the dedicated guides:
- Workday — used by Airbus, L'Oréal, LVMH, Danone, Société Générale.
- Greenhouse — adopted by French and Swiss tech scale-ups.
- Taleo Oracle — TotalEnergies, Orange, EDF and large industrial groups.
- SAP SuccessFactors — large companies running on SAP.
- Lever — startups and scale-ups.
- ATS overview.
How CandidIA supports an application end to end
- 1
You upload your resume.
The AI extracts your full profile — work experience, technical skills, soft skills, education, languages. This analysis takes about fifteen seconds.
- 2
You pick a job.
Either from the built-in aggregator, or by pasting the URL of an external listing directly.
- 3
Application generation.
The AI reads the listing, identifies the critical ATS keywords, rewrites your resume to weave them in, and drafts an aligned cover letter. You get two professional PDFs ready to send.
- 4
You track your applications.
Every application is added to your pipeline. You know where you stand, what's stuck, what's moving forward.
- 5
You prepare for your interviews.
When an interview comes up, the AI coach simulates the real interview with questions tailored to the role and the company.
For the technical detail of the first step, see Optimizing your resume for ATS. For the Swiss version, Applying in Switzerland from France.
CandidIA versus other approaches
CandidIA doesn't try to be everything at once. Here's how it stacks up against the other families of tools.
- Vs a resume builder (Zety, CV Designr, Mon CV Parfait). CandidIA goes beyond formatting. It analyzes the listing and adapts the content, not just the design.
- Vs a job aggregator (LinkedIn, Indeed, France Travail). CandidIA aggregates several sources, but above all adapts your application to each listing. See also CandidIA vs a classic resume.
- Vs a human coach. CandidIA works continuously, at scale, at an accessible price. It doesn't replace a coach for very specific cases, but it makes the basics of coaching available to everyone.
- Vs a general-purpose LLM (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini). Using a generic LLM to rewrite your resume is possible, but it takes prompt-engineering expertise and includes neither ATS scoring, nor the pipeline, nor the aggregator, nor the automatically audited zero-hallucination guarantee.
CandidIA in France and Switzerland
France
Full coverage. Dedicated job sources (France Travail, Adzuna, Welcome to the Jungle, Cadremploi, HelloWork, APEC). Familiarity with French resume conventions and sector codes.
Switzerland
French-speaking cantons (Geneva, Lausanne, Vaud, Fribourg, Valais, Neuchâtel, Jura) and the main German-speaking cantons (Zurich, Basel, Bern) when the listing is in French or English. Automatic detection of the listing's language. Adaptation to Swiss conventions (photo, date of birth, detailed education).
For the detail of the market and Swiss specifics, see Applying in Switzerland from France.
Belgium and Luxembourg: partial coverage (listings aggregated when published on the supported platforms). Dedicated versions are planned as the user base grows in those markets.
The zero-hallucination promise
CandidIA never fabricates information. This is an absolute, non-negotiable rule, technically enforced by an automatic post-generation audit. Concretely:
- The AI does not create experience you haven't had.
- The AI does not create a degree you haven't earned.
- The AI does not create a skill absent from your original resume.
- The AI rephrases, highlights and aligns with the language of the listing — but it refuses to invent.
If you want to add an experience or a skill, it's up to you to enter it in your profile — not up to the AI to guess it.

Frequently asked questions
How does CandidIA work in practice?
You upload your resume (PDF or Word), choose a job from the built-in aggregator or by pasting its URL, and CandidIA generates a resume optimized for the listing's ATS plus a personalized cover letter. Both PDFs are ready to send in about sixty seconds.
Does the AI make up information in my resume?
No. This is an absolute rule, enforced by an automatic post-generation audit. The AI reorganizes, rephrases and aligns what is already in your resume with the language of the job listing. It never adds experience, a degree or a skill you don't have.
Does CandidIA work for jobs in Switzerland?
Yes. The platform covers France and French-speaking Switzerland (Geneva, Lausanne, Vaud, Fribourg, Valais, Neuchâtel, Jura) as well as the main German-speaking cantons when the listing is in French or English. The listing's language is detected automatically and the application is generated in the right language.
How is CandidIA different from a classic resume builder?
A resume builder formats your profile without taking the target job into account. CandidIA starts from the job listing and adapts your resume accordingly, ATS keywords included. It's the difference between a text editor and a copilot.
Are my data and my resume secure?
Yes. Your resumes and personal data are encrypted (AES-256) and hosted in the European Union. They are never shared with third parties or used to train the AI. You can export or delete all your data at any time from your settings, in line with the GDPR. Payments are handled by Stripe — no banking data is stored by CandidIA.
Does CandidIA work for internships and apprenticeships?
Yes. CandidIA is built for every situation: internship, apprenticeship, first job, permanent contract, fixed-term contract, internal mobility, career change. The platform adjusts its expectations based on the type of listing and the candidate profile.
How long is the free trial?
The trial includes one full optimization for free (resume + cover letter for a single job), with no credit card required. You can test the full workings of the platform before committing.
Can I cancel my subscription easily?
Yes, in two clicks from Settings then Billing, with no notice period and no form. You go straight to the official Stripe portal. Cancellation is instant and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
Does CandidIA work with US ATS software?
Resumes generated by CandidIA are compatible with the leading international ATS used in France and Switzerland: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, SAP SuccessFactors, Taleo Oracle, SmartRecruiters, Jobvite, iCIMS and BambooHR. For the specific US market, some resume conventions differ (length, photo, personal details) — CandidIA adapts to the context of the listing.
How long does it take to optimize a resume?
About sixty seconds for a complete application (optimized resume + cover letter + 2 ready-to-send PDFs). In detail: resume analysis about 15 seconds, ATS scoring 10 seconds, resume and letter generation 30 seconds, PDF compilation 5 seconds.
Does CandidIA guarantee an interview?
No, and that's a matter of transparency. No tool can guarantee an interview — landing one depends on your profile, the number of applicants for the listing, timing and factors beyond our control. CandidIA works to get your application past the ATS filters and in front of a human recruiter. The outcome then depends on the substance of your application.
Who runs CandidIA?
CandidIA is a French SaaS platform. The company is designed and operated from France. For legal details (company name, registration number, address, hosting provider), see the legal notice at candidia.eu/mentions-legales.

About and origins
CandidIA is a French platform founded to democratize access to application-optimization tools that were until now reserved for a few — premium services, private coaches, alumni of elite schools. The project was born from the observation that the best candidates aren't always the ones who land the best interviews. The ATS filter and the quality of the application weigh as much as the profile itself.
